OVEC Progress Monitoring Training LIMITED

Please complete IEP level 1 prior to this training.
These Modules have been created to make the Progress Monitoring available to you at your convenience. It will be open for a week. You will receive a Google Classroom link on the Friday before the training week. You may begin when you receive the link and will have until the next Friday at the close of business to complete the modules. You receive 6 hours of Professional Learning upon completing all modules and the pre/post assessment in this course, so please plan for a 6-hour time commitment to complete the work well.
EILA credit can be provided by submitting your request to Debbie.

Purpose of Training:
Participants will learn to use tools and methods used to collect, graph, and analyze data, determine the effectiveness of specially designed instruction, use data to guide adjustments to instruction, determine the current level of learning/behavioral performance, gather consistent data for the reevaluation process, and provide evidence of student performance specific to IEP annual goals. 

Session Outcomes:
Participants will define & identify methods of measurement, collect, graph, analyze, interpret & communicate progress monitoring data, make instructional decisions about a student’s progress toward annual goals, demonstrate the linkage between progress monitoring & writing present levels of performance for annual goal development, develop proficiency in writing an analysis of students' progress, and communicate progress monitoring data.

Audience:  Special Education Administrators and Consultants & K-12 Special Education Teachers
Cost: FREE for OVEC districts
